SwimDNA provides swimming performance analytics and athlete development insights.

This policy explains where data originates and how it is used within the SwimDNA platform.

2. Sources of Information

SwimDNA may obtain information from publicly available sources including:

  • National swimming governing bodies
  • State and regional swimming associations
  • Official meet results
  • Timing providers
  • Competition organisers
  • Public athlete performance databases
  • Information voluntarily provided by users

3. Use of Public Competition Results

Public competition results may be used to:

  • Track athlete development
  • Analyse performance progression
  • Identify performance trends
  • Compare historical performances
  • Estimate qualification likelihood
  • Generate athlete insights

SwimDNA does not claim ownership of official competition results.

Ownership of original competition results remains with the relevant governing body, event organiser, or rights holder.

4. SwimDNA Analytics

SwimDNA transforms publicly available performance information into independent analytical outputs, including:

  • Velocity scores
  • Momentum indicators
  • Consistency measurements
  • Qualification forecasting
  • Event suitability analysis
  • Performance benchmarking
  • Progression modelling

These outputs are proprietary SwimDNA analytics.

5. Accuracy of Information

SwimDNA relies on information published by third parties.

While reasonable efforts are made to maintain accuracy:

  • Source information may contain errors
  • Historical records may be incomplete
  • Results may be amended after publication

Users should independently verify information where accuracy is critical.

Unless expressly stated, SwimDNA is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorised by, or operated on behalf of any swimming organisation, governing body, club, timing provider, or event organiser.

Any trademarks, logos, or organisation names remain the property of their respective owners.
