Tasmanian swimming qualifying times
Swimming Tasmania runs one state championship a year: the Winter Championships in late August, from 8 years to open. Stroke 50s and 100s carry age-group cuts (8–11, 12/13, 14/15, 16–18); most 200m-and-longer events — and the 50s above age 11 — are published as Open events any age may enter on the Open standard. One thing to watch: the meet's course is not fixed season to season (2026 was raced long course after running short course in other years), so always check the current meet information for the course before entering.
Which row applies to your swimmer
Use the age the swimmer will be on the meet's age-as-at date, which each championship page states. Standards are published per age group and per event — where a table shows no time for an event at an age, that event simply isn't offered to that group.
